Mark Zuckerberg - "Citizen tool"

Posted by Steinar Andersen on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, In : Illegals

Hey Mark Zuckerberg..... where do you stand on unemployed Legal Immigrant Veterans (or just unemployed Vets for that matter)?

While you are soooooo busy advocating illegal immigrants getting a path to citizenship with Jose Vargas (a illegal alien journalist who hasn't found a law yet he isn't willing to break), a bunch of us who came here legally don't have jobs. Funny thing, I don't hear Facebook being in the forefront of Vet issues (instead, you volunteered at a classroom where many there w...

March with us in Washington on July 15th

Posted by Steinar Andersen on Thursday, July 11, 2013,

Dear activist,

The Black American Leadership Alliance (BALA) has organized an anti-amnesty march and rally -- the DC March for Jobs -- in Washington, D.C. on Monday, July 15th. The goal is to "demand that our leaders reject amnesty, enforce immigration laws as written, and support policies that put black U.S. citizens back to work."
As their web site notes, if the Gang of Eight's immigration bill is enacted, it "will be costly for all Americans, but will harm black American workers more than a...

Here is Motor Voter in all of it's nastiness

No where is it listed (that I can see) where the state can take a sample of the cards and to use either a 3rd party or independent party to verify a certain amount of these cards to see if the applicant is being truthful. The effort seems to be that the person sending in the card is treated with kid gloves and that it takes a miracle to change the laws. I also wonder if anyone thought to include this information in the law that when conduc...

The US Supreme Court ~ Out to lunch

Posted by Steinar Andersen on Monday, June 17, 2013,
I am a LEGAL immigrant. What I am about to say does not make me a bigot, against a specific minority or race, or against immigrants.

The US Supreme Court has officially gone off it's rocker. The fact it is Hispanic open borders organizations and the ACLU trumpeting their approval of this is evidence that it is getting to a point that you just only need your "word" that you are a US Citizen to vote. Given that voting decides our political races, why is it that as a illegal immigrant, legal imm...

I officially will now have more time to dedicate to this site.

Posted by Steinar Andersen on Monday, August 27, 2012,

As a result of many changes where I was working, my job is moving elsewhere and my time there is ending (and I venture into the unknown). A renewed effort will start taking place in september as this issue will definitely play a role in this election. Legal immigrants need their voice heard, and I aim to provides the means to do that. Stay tuned, much more activity to come.

The Administration takes its marbles and goes home?

Posted by Steinar Andersen on Tuesday, June 26, 2012,
After the Supreme Court ruling on monday, the Obama administration ended an agreement Monday that allowed some specially trained local police in the state to enforce immigration laws. I am researching this and will comment as soon as I have more detail.

A Naturalized Citizen's View of Immigration (legal or otherwise).

Posted by Steinar Andersen on Saturday, June 23, 2012,

Jose Vargas, the former Washington Post journalist, wrote an article in the New York Times magazine on June 22, 2011 that is pertinent to the action by the Obama administration this past week (with his Department of Homeland Security giving 800,000 illegal immigrants the opportunity to remain in this country with no actions to be taken to deport them).

Mr. Vargas was in a conference room at the American Immigration Lawyers Association outfitted with a projector and screen, Vargas watched Oba...

‘I am a legal immigrant’

Posted by Steinar Andersen on Saturday, June 23, 2012,

I plan on starting up this blog with the intention of having a respectful communication with others regarding our present immigration dilemma.

I had written a letter to the editor to the Chicago Tribune in April of 2010 and it was published on 5/2/2010. I will start this blog off by re-printing that and going from there.
